This surge is primarily seen in agriculture and construction sectors, with significant rises in larger firms facing financial difficulties. The number of insolvencies among companies with assets over one million euros increased by 65%, indicating a shift in economic risk. The North-East region experienced the highest growth in insolvencies, while Bucharest remains the main hub. The overall economic context is challenging, with declining consumer demand impacting sales and increasing financial pressures on businesses.
