Reclame retrase de pe Facebook și Instagram, după un semnal de alarmă venit din India. Cum funcționa frauda

Meta removed numerous ads from Facebook and Instagram after India reported fraudulent ads using explicit content to spread malware. These ads tricked users into downloading malware that could steal banking information. The Indian government noted a rise in cyber fraud, with losses reaching nearly $2.4 billion in 2025. Ads like 'Night Play' and 'Kyss' directed users to phishing sites, exploiting the growing digital payment landscape. Despite Meta's policies against misleading ads, at least 39 such ads were still active after the alert. This incident marks the second warning from India regarding financial fraud on major tech platforms.
