Realitatea Plus, amendată cu suma maximă de CNA pentru promovarea excesivă a lui Călin Georgescu: „I se face o campanie absolut deșănțată”

The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) fined Realitatea Plus 200,000 lei for excessive promotion of Călin Georgescu, describing it as an inappropriate campaign. The decision followed a previous vote that failed to reach the required majority for sanctions. CNA member Dorina Rusu criticized the portrayal of Georgescu, likening it to excessive propaganda, and highlighted specific instances of biased coverage. The council noted that the programming presented Georgescu in a heroic light, raising concerns about compliance with broadcasting regulations.
