Reacţia românilor prinşi în haosul din UK, unde 2.000 de zboruri au fost anulate
A technical failure caused significant disruption at UK airports, leading to over 2,000 flight cancellations and affecting 250,000 passengers. Many were forced to sleep on the floors of major airports like Heathrow and Gatwick. Passengers, including Romanians, faced long waits and frustrations, with some stuck on planes for hours without food. The issue stemmed from a military flight plan mistakenly entered into the air traffic control system, causing a radar failure. Although the problem was resolved, the aftermath continued to impact flights, including at least 10 to Romania. The air traffic service director was summoned by the UK Transport Ministry amid calls for accountability.
