Reacția Nova Power & Gas în scandalul gazelor americane: Memorandumul semnat la Atena a expirat fără contract

Nova Power & Gas announced that a memorandum for importing American liquefied natural gas (LNG) expired without a contract. The company stated that the document, signed in November 2025, did not lead to any purchases or agreements. They clarified that they were invited to join the memorandum last minute and that the gas quantities mentioned were primarily for transit, not domestic consumption. Nova Power & Gas emphasized that they did not negotiate or provide LNG to other firms, while Romgaz confirmed no state pressure was applied for contract negotiations. The company also highlighted that LNG from the U.S. would have been cheaper than domestic gas prices for 2026 and 2027, but no agreements were reached before the memorandum expired in February 2026. Nova Power & Gas continues discussions with American traders for future LNG imports.
