Reacția Guvernului după preluarea Șantierului Naval Mangalia de către Rheinmetall

The Mangalia Shipyard was acquired by Rheinmetall Real Estate Romania for approximately 138 million euros. The Romanian government believes this acquisition will revive operations, create jobs, and enhance military shipbuilding capabilities, crucial for national security in the Black Sea. The deal follows negotiations under the European SAFE program, linking military purchases to investments in the national defense industry. Planned investments aim to transform the shipyard into a key European military shipbuilding center, bolstering Romania's defense industry and NATO's eastern flank. The shipyard previously faced financial difficulties, leading to bankruptcy and job losses.
