Sibiu police conducted a major traffic operation on DN1, resulting in numerous fines for speeding and seatbelt violations. The initiative aimed to reduce road risks by targeting key accident causes. In four hours, 148 penalties were issued, including 63 for speeding and 12 for not wearing seatbelts. Additionally, three driving licenses were suspended, and four vehicle registrations were revoked. The police encourage all road users to drive cautiously and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent accidents.
