Război în Ormuz. Peste 80% din rezervele de petrol internaționale pentru urgențe, consumate • Newsweek România
Over 80% of the emergency oil reserves promised by IEA member states have been released due to the ongoing crisis in the Strait of Hormuz. The IEA's executive director, Fatih Birol, reported that 325 million barrels have been utilized from the initial 400 million barrels pledged in March. The energy markets are under significant pressure, particularly regarding diesel supply, exacerbated by Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries. The G7 has agreed to release an additional 100 million barrels over four months to address supply disruptions. They also plan to coordinate refinery maintenance and avoid energy export restrictions among member states.
