Climate change is causing rapid shifts between droughts and extreme rainfall, complicating water resource management. Romania experienced low Danube levels, leading to an energy crisis, highlighting the broader implications for ecosystems, populations, and economies. The OMM calls for improved hydrological data collection to better manage water resources.
