Rata șomajului din România a ajuns în august la 3,26%

The national unemployment rate increased to 3.26% in August, with a total of 260,919 unemployed individuals. The number of compensated unemployed rose by 3,960, while the non-compensated decreased by 2,930. Urban areas accounted for 72,498 unemployed, and rural areas for 188,421. Among the unemployed, 127,510 were women and 133,409 were men. The highest number of unemployed individuals were over 55 years old, while those aged 25-29 were the least represented. A significant portion of the unemployed had low educational attainment, with 28.48% having no education or only primary education, and 5.09% holding university degrees.
