Rata inflației a scăzut la 6,17%, în luna august. Ce s-a ieftinit și ce prețuri au crescut

In August, the annual inflation rate decreased to 6.17% from 8.16% in July, according to the National Institute of Statistics. However, services increased by 11.28%, non-food goods by 6.36%, and food items by 2.62%. Fuel prices saw significant hikes, with gasoline up by 6.64% and diesel by 6.12% in one month. Conversely, food prices dropped by 0.71%, particularly vegetables and fruits. Some food items, like oil and pork, experienced price increases. The National Bank of Romania revised its inflation forecast for the end of 2026 to 6.1%.
