Hospital representatives attribute this rise not only to an actual increase in infections but also to improved identification and reporting of cases. In 2025, 40% of reported infections were caused by antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The most common infections included respiratory, urinary, digestive, and surgical site infections, with the highest cases reported in the ICU. The hospital has implemented measures to manage outbreaks effectively.
