Rata dobânzii la obligațiunile pe zece ani ale Franței atinge cel mai ridicat nivel din 2002

France's ten-year bond yields reached their highest level since 2002, reflecting growing investor skepticism ahead of the 2027 budget presentation. The yield rose to 4.92%, surpassing previous highs from the 2007-2008 financial crisis. In contrast, Germany's ten-year yield stands at 3.62%, widening the spread to 1.31 percentage points, the highest since 2012. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu acknowledged the increasing interest payments, while investor confidence in France's ability to pass the budget is waning due to political gridlock and high debt levels. The budget proposals will be presented to the Council of Ministers before parliamentary debate, which is expected to be contentious, with a risk of a vote of no confidence against the government.
