Annual inflation rose to 6.61% in September 2026 after three months of deflation, according to INS data. The largest price increases were seen in rents, fuels, and services. Service prices increased by 11.12% compared to September 2025, while non-food goods rose by 7.06% and food prices by 3%. Coffee saw the highest annual price increase at 13.78%. Diesel and gasoline prices surged by 37.61% and 28.42%, respectively. Rents increased by 39.46%, and various service tariffs also rose significantly. Some products, like butter and flour, experienced price drops. Overall, the inflation trend indicates a return to rising prices after a period of deflation.
