Raport SUA: România respectă cerințele de transparență fiscală
Romania meets the minimum fiscal transparency requirements for 2025, according to the US State Department's Fiscal Transparency Report 2026. The annual assessment evaluates how governments provide public access to key budget documents and their reliability. This year, 140 governments were analyzed, with 73 meeting the transparency standards. The report emphasizes that fiscal transparency is crucial for building market trust and responsible public finance management. It also highlights the need for clear public data on public debt to prevent unfavorable lending conditions. The updated criteria for 2026 include new requirements for sovereign loan disclosures.
