The analysis of four reports from PwC's Middle East division highlighted issues such as incorrect citations and links to non-existent studies. One fabricated study on air quality in Riyadh was cited, and unusual sources were referenced, including a Medium article by a teenager. PwC acknowledged the importance of research accuracy and is updating some citations, but did not clarify how these errors occurred. Similar issues were found in reports from other Big Four firms, leading to document retractions.
