Rapid București will represent Romania in the 2026 Rugby Europe Super Cup as Romanian Wolves, featuring only players from the club. The team will debut on October 11 against Brussels Devils in Bucharest. The project focuses on developing Romanian players from juniors to seniors, contributing athletes to national teams. Rapid recently surprised by defeating SCM USV Timișoara, finishing fifth in the league. Club president Vlad-Alexandru Andronescu emphasized the importance of this opportunity for players to gain experience. FRR president Alin Petrache noted the project's success in nurturing talent for future national representation. The competition will run from October 10 to December 13, featuring five teams, with a new format where each team plays against all others once.
