Râmnicu Vâlcea va fi legată de A1 Sibiu-Pitești

The Romanian government has approved a project to connect Râmnicu Vâlcea to the Sibiu-Pitești Highway by modernizing DN 73C and constructing a new road section. This project includes upgrading approximately 13 kilometers of DN 73C and building a new 2.4-kilometer bypass around Tigveni, ensuring direct access to the highway. The total investment is around 770 million lei, funded by non-reimbursable external sources. The project aims to improve travel time, enhance road safety, and facilitate better access for people and businesses in the region. The works will also include the construction of three roundabouts and the rehabilitation of seven bridges and passages.
