Raiffeisen preia Garanti Bank. Consiliul Concurenței a autorizat tranzacția

Raiffeisen Bank has received approval from the Competition Council for the acquisition of Garanti Bank Romania and two affiliated companies, valued at €591 million. The transaction includes Garanti Bank, Motoractive IFN, and Motoractive Multiservices. The Competition Council found no significant obstacles to competition. Although the approval is a crucial step, the transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of 2026. After the acquisition, both banks will operate independently until the integration process is completed in late 2027. Clients of Garanti Bank will not need to take any action during this period, and existing contracts will remain unchanged.
