Radu Oprea: Proiectul Bala pe Dunăre, blocat de ONG-uri

Senator Radu Oprea discussed on a talk show how environmental NGOs halted a project intended to supply cooling water for the Cernavodă nuclear plant. Despite government approval and submission for EU funding, the project was blocked due to demands for a new feasibility study. Moderator Răzvan Dumitrescu expressed frustration over the situation, highlighting the risks of not cooling the reactors. The reactors were shut down due to low water levels in the Danube caused by severe drought.
