The Minister of Defense, Radu Miruță, announced ongoing investments in military medical infrastructure to enhance services for both military personnel and civilians. During his visit to the Military Emergency Hospital in Craiova, he discussed necessary investments with the hospital's management. The facility serves patients from several counties, with a significant majority being civilians. Miruță emphasized the need for serious planning and funding solutions to meet medical needs. He highlighted a new building at the hospital, funded mainly through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, as a sign of commitment to improving military healthcare. Four out of eleven military hospitals are currently receiving EU-funded upgrades.
