Radu Miruță: Transportatorii nu vor fi amendați dacă TollRo are defecțiuni

Interim Transport Minister Radu Miruță announced that transporters will not face penalties due to technical issues with the TollRo platform. He emphasized that a new regulation was added to his latest ministerial order, ensuring users are protected from fines when the system malfunctions. The declaration comes as transporters reported various problems with the platform since its launch, including account creation and payment issues. Miruță criticized the delays in the platform's implementation by the National Road Company and assured that users trying to fulfill their obligations will not be penalized for technical failures. The TollRo system became operational on October 1, but users have faced significant challenges, leading to calls for a delay in penalty enforcement until 2027.
