Radu Miruţă: Ministerul Transporturilor a pierdut 2,2 miliarde de euro din PNRR sub conducerea lui Grindeanu
The Romanian Ministry of Transport lost 2.2 billion euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan due to procurement irregularities and delays, according to interim Minister Radu Miruță. He highlighted that the funds were not cut due to unmet reforms but rather due to issues in project execution. Specific problems were noted in various infrastructure projects, including the A7 highway and the Cluj metro. Miruță criticized the previous administration for these losses, emphasizing that the amount lost was significantly higher than other budgetary issues. He also mentioned successful project completions in other sectors, contrasting the performance of the Ministry of Transport.
