Radu Miruță cere prioritizarea banilor europeni pentru proiecte legate de mobilitatea militară

During the EU transport ministers meeting in Ireland, interim Minister Radu Miruță emphasized the need for a clear mechanism to prioritize EU funding for military mobility infrastructure projects. He called for increased investment in railways, bridges, and roads to enhance military mobility. Miruță stressed that Romania should proactively advocate for necessary national projects rather than being passive recipients of external initiatives. He highlighted the ongoing modernization of the Romanian Army but noted that inadequate infrastructure could hinder military operations. Miruță pointed out that Europe is beginning to recognize the link between infrastructure and military mobility, urging Romania to be prepared with projects when funding becomes available.
