The Romanian Ministry of National Defense reported the detection of two drones near the Ukrainian border, prompting F-18 aircraft to be deployed for monitoring. Residents in northern Tulcea received RO-Alert messages. The radar system identified an aerial target approximately 20 km from Periprava, leading to the activation of emergency alerts. A second target was detected later, but no incursions into national airspace were reported.
