Vladimir Putin has temporarily transferred the Russian assets of the American group Aptar to a company led by Ramzan Kadyrov's nephew. Kadyrov was re-elected with 99.85% of the votes. The decree signed by Putin places Aptar's assets under the management of H&N, previously part of Danone, now run by Yakub Zakriev. This move follows a pattern of Putin taking control of Western companies' assets in Russia. Kadyrov, who has led Chechnya since 2007, has appointed several relatives to key positions, maintaining loyalty to the Kremlin.
