Turkey has proposed an initiative to prevent Russia and Ukraine from attacking ships in the Black Sea, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. The issue was raised during recent talks between Presidents Putin and Erdogan. Peskov noted that the situation regarding grain supply through the Black Sea is becoming increasingly complicated due to Ukrainian actions. Ukraine has attacked Russian ships and grain terminals, leading to significant economic concerns for Russia. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Ankara has communicated a proposal to both Russia and Ukraine to cease attacks on ships in the Black Sea.
