Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree increasing the authorized number of military personnel by 15,500, marking his fourth such decision this year. The total authorized strength of the Russian armed forces is now set at 2,441,630, including 1,550,500 military personnel. The last mobilization of reservists occurred in 2022 following Russian military setbacks.
