Putin propune un summit cu Trump şi Xi Jinping pentru negocierea unei soluţii la conflictul din Ucraina • Newsweek România

Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed a summit next month with U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping to negotiate a resolution to the Ukraine conflict. This proposal follows improved relations between Trump and Putin, particularly after Trump announced a deal for diesel purchases from Russia and lifted key sanctions against Moscow. The Kremlin suggested this trilateral dialogue could occur during the upcoming APEC summit in Shenzhen on November 18-19. While discussions are ongoing, there is no clear agreement on the meeting or its agenda. An American official noted that Trump has not yet agreed to the summit but may be open to the idea. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the deal, warning it could embolden Putin and prolong the war.
