Putin leagă succesul AfD la votul din Saxonia-Anhalt de greşelile Occidentului

Russian President Vladimir Putin attributed the strong performance of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in recent regional elections to mistakes made by Western countries. He claimed that current events in Europe stem from systematic errors in politics, security, and economics by Western states. Putin accused European governments of provoking open conflict with Russia, which he believes influenced the election results. The AfD achieved a record 43.8% in the Saxony-Anhalt elections, nearing an absolute majority. He stated that Europeans understand the situation, linking it to the AfD's success. Putin, attending the BRICS summit in India, reiterated that Russia has not threatened European nations and sees no reason for conflict, asserting that such issues were resolved after World War II.
