Putin aprobă vânzarea subsidiarei UniCredit din Rusia
President Vladimir Putin has approved the reorganization of UniCredit's Russian subsidiary and its subsequent sale, as per a government decree. This move follows Russia's restrictions on transactions involving assets owned by investors from countries deemed "unfriendly". UniCredit, one of the largest Western banks still operating in Russia, plans to sell parts of its Russian operations to a private investor from the UAE while retaining its payment division. The transaction is expected to be completed by mid-2027, pending necessary approvals.
