Punctul internațional de trecere a frontierei Sighetu Marmației II – Bila Țerkva va fi deschis în trei etape

The Romanian government has approved the opening of the Sighetu Marmației II border crossing with Ukraine, to be implemented in three phases. Initially, it will allow vehicles under 3.5 tons, followed by heavier vehicles, and finally pedestrian traffic. The full operation is expected by December 31, 2027, with specific regulations for emergency and official services. The Ministry of Transport will oversee the border point's administration.
