Puiul ieftin din China cucereşte pieţele externe. Exporturile cresc şi producătorii europeni sunt sub presiune
China has become a net exporter of chicken, significantly increasing its exports and putting pressure on European producers. In 2022, China exported chicken products worth $2.6 billion, nearly double from 2020. This shift has disrupted the global meat market, as cheaper Chinese poultry offers an alternative to traditional imports from Europe and the Americas. The influx of affordable chicken has raised concerns among Western producers and regulators, leading to investigations and potential tariffs. Meanwhile, China's domestic pork consumption has declined, prompting a shift towards poultry production, supported by government subsidies. As Chinese producers expand internationally, they are gaining market share at the expense of established players in Europe and beyond.
