The PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu confirmed that the party will maintain its stance on the hydroelectric law despite President Nicușor Dan's request for reexamination. Grindeanu emphasized that the law has already passed constitutional review and is considered beneficial. He refrained from criticizing Dan directly but reiterated that PSD's position remains unchanged. The law allows modifications to protected natural areas for hydroelectric projects initiated before June 29, 2007. The President's concerns include the feasibility and environmental impact of these projects, as well as the need for additional guarantees regarding environmental studies.
