They emphasized their consistent stance against privatization, as outlined in the government program presented by Prime Minister Luca Niculescu. The program states that profitable strategic assets will not be sold under budgetary pressure without proper evaluation, although it allows for minority share listings. PSD's position remains unchanged, advocating for the protection of profitable state companies and the attraction of investors for those in difficulty. They also highlighted their previous objections to the sale of shares in profitable companies like Hidroelectrica and Romgaz.
