Currently, the coalition of PNL, USR, UDMR, and national minorities has only 209 votes, making PSD's support essential. Grindeanu's stance reflects internal dissent within the party regarding Mureșan's leadership. Mureșan has expressed intentions to seek PSD's backing for the government formation.
