Marinescu highlighted the need for a responsible government to ensure economic recovery and social stability. He also commented on the possibility of early elections, noting that they could lead to a prolonged interim government without concrete solutions. President Iohannis has appointed Luca Niculescu as prime minister, who has ten days to present his cabinet and secure parliamentary support. PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu criticized the president's nomination, asserting that the party will make its own decisions regarding the government formation.
