The spontaneous strike began after night shift miners received their pay, revealing discrepancies in salaries. The unrest quickly spread as miners from subsequent shifts joined in solidarity. They demand equal pay and proper salary hierarchy. Union leaders are negotiating with the miners, while management claims the transferred workers were aware of the pay differences.
