Thousands demonstrated in Berlin and Frankfurt, demanding an investigation to ban the party. In Frankfurt, around 2,500 people protested, while several hundred gathered in Berlin, chanting slogans like "Defend democracy! Ban AfD now!" Authorities anticipate a larger rally at Brandenburg Gate, expecting about 5,000 participants. AfD achieved approximately 44.5% of the votes, marking its highest electoral score ever in a regional or federal election, significantly surpassing its previous results.
