Protest la Ministerul Muncii: Sindicatele cer majorarea salariului minim de la 1 ianuarie 2027

Multiple trade unions are protesting in front of the Ministry of Labor, demanding the resumption of collective negotiations and an increase in the minimum wage. The protest coincides with discussions among coalition leaders about unblocking the Salary Law. Interim Minister of Labor, Dragoș Pîslaru, announced that union representatives will be invited for talks regarding their demands. The unions are pushing for a minimum wage increase starting January 2027 and the resumption of collective bargaining in the private sector. The outcome of the discussions at Cotroceni may determine the future of salary policies in Romania.
