Norway's sovereign fund, managed by Norges Bank, and Portugal's Sonae are set to acquire shopping malls worth €1.5 billion from Robert Balkany's portfolio. The sale process has reached its final phase, with exclusive negotiations ongoing. Norges Bank will purchase a 92% stake for approximately €1.4 billion, while Sonae will acquire the remaining 8% for €120 million. Sonae Sierra will manage the portfolio, expanding its operations in Spain. The transaction is expected to finalize by the end of Q1 2027.
