Proiectul primei baterii a norvegienilor de la Scatec în România, de 176 MWh, mai face un pas. Urmează să ia autorizația de la ANRE - Economica.net

The 88 MW/176 MWh energy storage project in Buciumi, Bacău, by Scatec is set to receive its establishment authorization next week. This decision will be made by ANRE's Regulatory Committee. The project, which includes a lithium iron phosphate battery storage system, aims to enhance grid stability and facilitate renewable energy integration. Construction is expected to start in Q3 2026 and last until Q3 2027, with an operational lifespan of 15-20 years. Scatec, which entered the Romanian market in 2023, is also developing other renewable projects in the country, including a wind farm and solar projects, contributing to a multi-technology renewable portfolio.
