Proiectul Neptun Deep, pas crucial pentru securitatea energetică a Europei

Cristian Signoretto, president of Eurogas, emphasized the importance of the Neptun Deep project for Europe's energy security during the Eurogas Annual Regional Conference. He highlighted the need for internal gas production as a strategic asset and called for increased investment in carbon capture and storage technologies. Signoretto noted that Romania is set to become a net gas exporter to the EU, significantly boosting its production capacity. He stressed the importance of a long-term vision for the gas sector and the necessity of balancing security, competitiveness, and decarbonization efforts. The conference aims to discuss Romania's role in enhancing energy security and sustainability in Eastern Europe.
