Proiectul-mamut care zace abandonat de 13 ani în centrul Capitalei. Cum a ajuns Cartierul Justiției un maidan
The Justice District project in Bucharest, initiated 13 years ago, remains unbuilt, leaving a large abandoned area that has become a haven for the homeless. The 11-hectare site, intended for judicial institutions, is now neglected, with local authorities unable to enforce maintenance due to legal ambiguities. The Ministry of Development owns most of the land, but plans for development are stalled at the government level. Expropriation efforts for private parcels have not progressed, and the government has not allocated necessary funds. The project has lost significant financial support, and the area is now seen as an opportunity for urban regeneration.
