Dama Solar, the largest photovoltaic project in Europe, has received establishment authorization from ANRE for its first phase in Arad County. Developed by Rezolv Energy, the project spans over 1,000 hectares with an installed capacity of approximately 1,000 MW. It has qualified for the Romanian government's CfD scheme, securing a 15-year contract at a price of 42 euros/MWh. Construction is set to begin following the authorization, with operations expected by 2030. Rezolv Energy is also advancing other renewable projects in Romania and Bulgaria.
