Proiectul cursei Sibiu - Istanbul rămâne în picioare: aeroportul negociază cu o altă companie după falimentul Animawings

The direct flight route from Sibiu to Istanbul, previously discussed, will not be launched by AnimaWings due to the company's insolvency. The Sibiu International Airport management is actively seeking another airline to take over the route. Negotiations with AnimaWings had stalled as the airline delayed the project, citing fleet expansion needs. Despite this setback, the airport remains committed to establishing the connection to Turkey and has initiated talks with a new airline, whose identity is currently confidential. The process for launching flights to Turkey is more complex than for European routes, requiring special licenses and bilateral agreements.
