The CLARA project aims to provide cervical cancer screening services to women in rural Sibiu, focusing on those facing access barriers. It targets women aged 25 to 65, ensuring they receive information and support for early detection. The initiative fosters collaboration among local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organizations to enhance access to screening. This effort is crucial as Romania has the highest cervical cancer mortality rate in Europe, highlighting the need for preventive measures. Ruxandra Cibu Deaconu continues to support the project to improve women's health in the region.
