Proiecte IT din România în valoare 7.000.000 €, finanţate cu bani europeni, anchetate de Parchetul European • Newsweek România
The European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) is investigating a criminal network in Romania for manipulating public procurement procedures related to 29 IT projects worth €7 million funded by the EU. Nineteen searches were conducted at various locations, targeting individuals and companies involved in the alleged fraud. The investigation suggests that the network favored pre-selected suppliers for IT consultancy and cloud infrastructure services for public authorities. Evidence indicates that consulting firms submitted similar documentation across multiple projects, raising concerns about systematic reuse of materials and potential submission of false documents.
