Elite Grup has acquired the Sanex industrial platform in Cluj-Napoca for 40 million euros, planning to transform it into an urban redevelopment project. This purchase is noted as the largest land acquisition in Romania by a single buyer, fully financed from internal sources. The transaction received positive approvals from the Competition Council and the Commission for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments. Previously, Prime Kapital had abandoned plans for a 330 million euro project on the same site, which included a shopping center and residential buildings. Elite Grup aims to reintegrate the long-unused industrial area into the city, although specific development details are yet to be disclosed.
