Proiect de act normativ pentru limitarea consumului de energie electrică. Marii consumatori industriali pot fi deconectați în caz de urgență • Economie Biz Brasov
The Romanian government will discuss a resolution to approve an Electricity Risk Preparedness Plan aimed at limiting energy consumption amid a severe energy crisis. This crisis is primarily due to a significant drop in the Danube's water levels, which have reached a historic low. The Prime Minister highlighted the need for this plan, which allows for the prioritization of energy consumption reduction among industrial users before essential services. Current energy consumption is below historical highs, and while imports have increased, they remain below maximum capacity. The Ministry of Energy has called for voluntary measures to reduce electricity use during peak hours.
